Why donate to Allergy & Asthma Network?

Your charitable gift will help us continue providing services to millions of children, teens and adults living with allergies, asthma and related conditions across the country, especially those living in at-risk and vulnerable communities.

Your donation will help us continue expanding our core mission areas of outreach, education, advocacy and research.

Outreach:

To host allergy and asthma screenings; participate in health fairs, community events and asthma camps; distribute free educational material to families in need; offer a prescription assistance program to help with medication costs; and provide toll-free help-line (English and Spanish) to answer questions and provide resources.

Education:

To continue developing diverse, evidence-based programs and resources for patients and healthcare providers using a multichannel approach – magazines, special publications, social media, website, posters, infographics, webinars – with the goal of educating patients so they know their options and can access the right treatment at the right time.

Advocacy:

To raise public awareness about allergies, asthma and related conditions and educate policymakers about the importance of smart and effective policies and programs for millions of children, teens and adults without appropriate access to quality care. Each May, the Network hosts Allergy & Asthma Day Capitol Hill (AADCH) to amplify the patient voice, building capacity and make connections in communities nationwide.

Research:

To engage patients in research and development is critical to innovation and greater understanding of asthma and allergies. Allergy & Asthma Network partners with researchers and does its own research on issues important to patients and families. Using data, the Network serves as their voice and is able to articulate needs in an influential way with doctors, decision makers and industry professionals.
