Get Active for a Good Cause!
Join Our Asthma Awareness Month Virtual Fitness Challenge
Join us for a positive, energizing and fun virtual community challenge! Get exercise, boost your immune system and feel healthier as you raise awareness of asthma and support Allergy & Asthma Network.
Who: You, your family and friends!
What: Participate in a one-month online exercise program as part as a whole-body approach to your lung health.
When: May 1 – May 31
Where: Wherever you are — indoors or outside
Allergy & Asthma Network is teaming up with Certified Personal Trainer Shannon Simpson to bring you a one-month program of exercises to strengthen your core, legs, arms and balance. It also includes a yoga session to help calm your mind and body.
It’s just 15 minutes a day! We kick off on May 1 with a walk/run at your own pace and distance. (Please consider indoors if you have outdoor allergies.)
Registration: $20.00
All proceeds will support Allergy & Asthma Network’s outreach, education, advocacy and research programs!
Next Steps
After you register, you will receive a link to our Virtual Fitness Challenge webpage (live on April 30). There you will find Coach Shannon’s workout videos and a downloadable workout calendar to track your progress!

- Post your workout pictures on social media and share your progress. Use the hashtag #asthmachallenge
- Challenge your friends and family!
When you complete the challenge on May 31, email us your workout calendar (digital photo, PDF, etc.) and we’ll send you a certificate of completion. You’ll also be entered into a drawing for the chance to win a Fitbit-4 and other prizes!
