For people living with a chronic condition like asthma, the COVID-19 pandemic has created many questions. Allergy & Asthma Network has been working to answer those questions since the beginning of the pandemic.

Do you have asthma or allergies and are struggling to understand if your symptoms could be from COVID-19? We looked at asthma, allergies, and COVID-19 symptoms – where they overlap and where they don’t.

Do you have questions about the COVID-19 vaccine for people with asthma? We have reviewed the vaccine for asthmatics. We also created information about the COVID-19 vaccine for children. 

Have you been diagnosed with COVID-19 and want information on treatment? We have created a resource to help you understand monoclonal antibody infusions and what you need to know about the COVID-19 pill.

For Hispanic/Latino people with asthma, we have developed a whole virtual conference. This six-part series explores asthma and COVID-19’s impact on the Hispanic/Latino community. The first three sessions are recorded. We also look at involving the Hispanic/Latino community in research and answer their questions.

We also developed a whole virtual conference to discuss issues important to the Black community. The six-part Black People Like Me virtual conference took place in early 2021 and is recorded. The conference focused on asthma and COVID-19 and what questions people want answered.
